Why Trauma-Informed Coaching?
This is different from a typical fitness program
Most fitness programs are built for bodies that have never been hurt. If you've experienced trauma, that approach can miss the mark — or actively work against you. Punishment-based language, one-size-fits-all intensity, no room for the days your body needs something different.
As a Licensed Professional Counselor and certified personal trainer, I coach the whole person. That means:
-
Programming that respects your nervous system, not just your muscles
-
No shame-based language around food, weight, rest, or setbacks
-
Pacing built around your history and your capacity, not a generic 12-week template
-
A coach who understands both the psychology and the physiology of what you're doing
Who is this for?
This coaching is for women who:
-
Have a trauma history and want a coach who actually understands that context
-
Have tried fitness programs before and felt unseen, unsafe, or discouraged
-
Want to build strength as part of a bigger healing journey, not separate from it
-
Are ready for consistent, sustainable movement — not a quick fix
How it works?
-
Free consult call — we talk through your history, goals, and what's realistic for your life right now.
-

FAQ
-
I've never worked out consistently. Is this for me? Yes. This program is built for a starting point, not a finish line — we'll meet you exactly where you are.
-
Do I have to talk about my trauma to work with you? No. You're welcome to share as much or as little as you want. My clinical background shapes how I coach — it doesn't mean coaching sessions become therapy sessions.
-
Is this a replacement for therapy? No. Coaching is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If you're currently in therapy, this can complement that work; if you're not and think you might benefit, I'm happy to point you toward resources.
-
What if I have physical limitations or injuries? Let me know during your consult — programming is built around what your body can safely do.
Important Note About Coaching vs. Therapy
Coaching is a separate service from counseling or psychotherapy. As your coach, I draw on my clinical training to coach in a trauma-informed way, but coaching sessions are not therapy sessions, and this relationship is not a substitute for mental health treatment. If at any point it becomes clear that clinical support would serve you better, I'll help you find the right referral. If you are currently a therapy client of mine, coaching services are not available to you at this time — this keeps both relationships clear and protects you.
